AI Integration & Automation

We build AI into your workflow, with the human checks and accuracy measures that make the output safe to act on. Our automated systems are already deployed for major global organizations.

01

Issue

AI arrived in most institutions ahead of policies and guidance. Staff are already using general purpose tools on work that matters, and organizations are left deciding what to restrict and what to promote.

Whichever way that goes, decision-makers realize that deploying an AI tool is the easy part. Making its results trustworthy is the work.

02

Challenge

A system whose accuracy has never been measured cannot support a decision that carries consequences, and most deployments never measure it. What matters is whether the model follows your methodology, on your data, in your languages, and that is the part that needs to be tested.

03

Approach

Before automating anything we map the workflow: which steps consume time without adding judgement, where quality is inconsistent, and which decisions have to stay with a person. Only then do we build around that workflow, with the quality assurance, human controls and ethical guardrails that make the results dependable enough to act on. Everything runs in a safe environment, yours or ours, so your documents and your data remain private.

04

Impact

The test of any system we build is whether subject experts will use it.

At the World Bank the question was never speed. It was whether an automated analysis could meet the institution’s quality standards, so the quality control was built into it. Analysts there now spend their time interpreting findings and no longer producing them.

The Pacific Community’s surveillance team used to check websites and Facebook pages manually. Our platform now monitors hundreds of sources continuously, sorts what it finds by disease and country, and flags early signals. It works because it was built with that team, around their workflows and their public health priorities.

For UNICEF, online listening and community feedback sit in one system, which is unique in the industry. Analysis that took two weeks now takes a day, and they can spend more time deciding what to do for affected communities.

At the WHO Foundation, automated media and social analysis now informs campaign planning and fundraising as well as continuous reputation management.

Across all these AI & Automation applications, the people who used to process the data now spend more time deciding what to do with it.

Our work in practice

AI at the service of our expertise

Tools we built

Developed in house, used by our own analysts every day, and available to the partners we work with.

01

Listening

Online conversation and community feedback in one system, categorized and interpreted as it arrives, with your own research and guidance library behind every answer.

01

Misinformation Detector

Research-grounded detection of new and emerging misinformation, with an assessment of how far it is likely to spread.

03

AI personas

Simulate how your audience may react to a message or a scenario, and anticipate risks and opportunities before going public.

04

Editorio

An AI writing assistant tailored to the organisation’s voice and guidelines, with human supervision embedded in the process.

05

Augmented Opinion Research

AI support across each step of a study, from drafting the questionnaire to categorising the data and interpreting what it says.
