We examine how information, misinformation, and AI shape decisions and trust, and evaluate the impact of policies and campaigns.
Our experts also train teams to stay ahead of the curve.
01
Institutions are investing heavily in responses to misinformation, in AI systems and in staff who are expected to handle both. Very little of that investment are currently based on strong evidence.
02
Applied research requires an interdisciplinary approach to become actionable. Measuring how a narrative spreads, explaining why it persuades, building the system that detects it and deciding how to respond belong to different fields.
03
We design each study around a decision that has to be made, and we say at the outset what it can and cannot answer. Depending on the question that means survey work, qualitative research, digital analysis or a combination, built on validated frameworks where they exist and deployed through the systems your teams already use.
Training runs on the same principle. It is delivered by the researchers, engineers and communicators who do this work daily, so a participant can ask where a method breaks down and receive a straight answer. Where a team needs to practise rather than learn, we run simulations against scenarios drawn from real events.
04
For the World Bank we trained 400+ communications and external affairs staff worldwide in Generative AI.
For UNICEF we continuously trained country offices in misinformation response.
These trainings are delivered jointly by communications specialists, AI ethics researchers and engineers, with hands-on exercises to build capability and responsibility.
AI at the service of our expertise
Developed in house, used by our own analysts every day, and available to the partners we work with.
01
Online conversation and community feedback in one system, categorized and interpreted as it arrives, with your own research and guidance library behind every answer.
01
Research-grounded detection of new and emerging misinformation, with an assessment of how far it is likely to spread.
03
Simulate how your audience may react to a message or a scenario, and anticipate risks and opportunities before going public.
04
An AI writing assistant tailored to the organisation’s voice and guidelines, with human supervision embedded in the process.
05
AI support across each step of a study, from drafting the questionnaire to categorising the data and interpreting what it says.
