We ran in-depth trainings on generative AI for the World Bank’s 200 communications and external staff worldwide.
The World Bank realized that most of its staff regularly used generative AI tools for their work. It commissioned Research for Purpose to equip its staff with the latest knowledge on generative AI for communications and external affairs.
Research for Purpose delivered a training with concrete applications that can be effective at this date, presented the risks and opportunities of using generative AI using specific examples, as well as ran tool demos for the World Bank with methods to use it ethically and responsibly.
These training sessions are run by our experts in communications, AI ethics, AI engineers and researchers. This combination is crucial to get the knowledge needed to understand how generative AI works. Once trainees understand that, it is much more intuitive to understand the strength and limitations of generative AI, and especially how to use these tools ethically and responsibly.
The training was praised by World Bank staff due to its very practical applications and also the theoretical aspects of how Generative AI actually works.
